From January 3rd to the 16th under the Andean skies of Argentina and Bolivia the extraordinary show of the Dakar 2016 took place. A challenging course in stages which is the toughest endurance race for off-road vehicles in the world.

The former Paris-Dakar, since 2009 simply Dakar, is the off-road competition conceived by the French car driver Thierry Sabine, after an unfortunate personal story. An example that when life puts you to the test, the reaction leads to a great path, now in its 38th edition.
Also Teloni Tosetto is present at this edition of the Dakar 2016 rally. In fact, it has overseen the production of the covers and decoration of the Iveco Trakker truck (with Pubblisystem graphics and digital printing). The vehicle, with 900 horse power, competed for Team Petronas De Rooy and was led by an all-Spanish team composed of Pep Vila Roca, one of the most experienced drivers at Dakar, co-pilot and Catalan navigator Xavi Roqueta Colome and mechanic Marc Torres Sala.
The Iveco Trukker led by Vila Roca ranked in tenth position, supporting the success obtained by the Dutch captain of Team Petronas, Gerard De Rooy, who won the Dakar 2016 ranking in first place with the Iveco Powerstar # 501.

In a kaleidoscope of people and vehicles: 354 vehicles (in detail: 55 trucks, 110 cars, 143 motorcycles and 46 quads) for a total of 556 participants, coming from 60 different nations, Dakar 2016 has been a tough challenge until the end, with 5 different manufacturers committed to fight to finish in the first 10 places.

An excellent experience to test the reliable quality and versatility of the Teloni Tosetto truck liners, a guarantee of attention to detail, a careful eye to personalization and commitment to guarantee high-level performance even in extreme situations, as in the Dakar 2016.
